The Bayswater Harbour Ferries of Auckland to Takapuna

This is the second volume tracing the history of the Auckland Harbour Ferries. It is a 240 page A4 in three parts.

The first covers the Shoal Bay sailing ferries and canal schemes; the steam ferry excursion service to Takapuna Beach and the horse bus locomotion from Devonport.

The second is a detailed account in diary form of the Bayswater Ferry and the long forgotten steam trams that connected Bayswater with Takapuna.

The third part rounds up the history with what happened after motor buses replaced the trams and subsequent ferry services to Bayswater.
