DescriptionBuilt 1902 by A & J Inglis, Glasgow. Formerly owned by Reese Shipping Company, Christchurch who sold two ships - OREPUKI and OPUA - to Anchor Company after the Otira rail tunnel was opened. OPUA's life with Anchor was short as she went ashore 12 miles NE of Cape Palliser on a voyage from Gisborne to Wellington 2nd October 1926.
