DescriptionPhotos taken by Society Honorary Vice-President R J McDougal in August 2010. Wellington's new Police lauch undergoing builders trials at Wanganui. Built by Q-West, it is a sister ship to the Auckland police launch. Meantime Q-West continues a-pace to complete the new builds - Tauranga pilot launch ARATAKI and a harbour cleaning catamaran with a large beam for Sydney, NSW. Also a 17-metre catamaran ferry for Auckland's Pine Harbour is well under construction. This is their 3rd and largest Pine Harbour ferry. A 24-metre catamaran vessel for Real Journeys, Fiordland,is next on their construction list.
